Dark Jokes
The Podcast
Homicide Hobbies launched in April 2022 with a simple premise: two sisters who are obsessed with true crime sit down every week and talk about it. No scripts. No corporate polish. Just Andi and Claire, a microphone, and a case file.
Four seasons and 160+ episodes later, we've covered serial killers, mass murderers, crimes of passion, wrongful convictions, and everything in between. The show doesn't sensationalize — it contextualizes. Every victim gets a name. Every case gets the depth it deserves.
And yes, there are dark jokes. Because sometimes we laugh instead of crying, that's the only way through.
"We're not here to sensationalize. We're here to tell stories the way they deserve to be told."
— Andi & Claire
The Hosts
Co-Host
Andi is the researcher, editor, storyteller, and the reason the timelines actually make sense. She’s the one with 47 browser tabs open, case notes in one hand, and a leash for her husky in the other while somehow editing episodes mid-run.
A lifelong true crime obsessive, Andi brings depth, empathy, and the details nobody else catches. Listeners know her as the heart of the show — the calm voice in the chaos, the mom energy that somehow coexists with an alarming ability to fall asleep during interrogations and still remember every word.
When she’s not buried in research, she’s usually running, editing, raising six kids, or surviving on caffeine and questionable sleep habits after nearly 20 years of marriage and a lifetime of curiosity about why people do what they do.

Co-Host
Claire researches, fact-checks, and writes her own episodes — usually while simultaneously questioning every statistic, interrupting someone mid-sentence, and demanding to know where the source came from.
She brings the smart-mouthed little sister energy to the show: sarcastic, sharp, darkly funny, and always ready to challenge a theory. If there's a detail that doesn't add up, Claire will find it — and probably derail the conversation until everyone acknowledges it.
Outside the podcast, she's an avid gardener, devoted wife, a dog lover, and professional hyper-fixator on Andi's crime statistics no one else noticed. Listeners know her as the chaotic counterpart to Andi's calm: quick-witted, skeptical, and incapable of letting anyone finish a sentence uninterrupted.
